Effective June 14, 2026
The Edwards Family Management Tool ("the Application") is a private application operated by David Edwards for the Edwards household to organize the household's own information. This policy explains what information the Application handles, how it is used, and the choices available to its users.
Information is used solely to provide the Application's features to the household (organizing finances, schedule, tasks, health, and related information) and to surface helpful reminders. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
To let you connect financial accounts, the Application uses Plaid Inc. By connecting an account you grant Plaid and the Application the right to access information from that financial institution per your authorization. Your use of Plaid is governed by Plaid's End User Privacy Policy, available at plaid.com/legal. You may disconnect a linked account at any time, which revokes ongoing access.
Information is not sold or shared except with the service providers required to operate the Application, who process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments:
Data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest (AES-256). Access is restricted by row-level security so each person sees only what they are authorized to; sensitive categories (health, messages, credentials) are private to the individual. Multi-factor authentication is available, an append-only audit log records changes, and access tokens are stored server-side only.
Information is retained while the Application is in use. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information, and you may disconnect any linked external account at any time. On account closure, your data can be permanently deleted on request.
This policy may be updated as the Application evolves; the effective date above reflects the current version.
